First of all, lemme say I'm a very big fan of Deluge, and its speed performance.. Truly astounding! I never hit such maximum speed on Azureus or µTorrent before. :)
Anyway, a lil' bug I discovered myself on a newly added torrent (using alpha 18).
See, my maximum download speed is: 109 KiB/s. Maximum upload is 24KiB/s, and I set it on 16 whilst downloading.
The picture shows my share ratio as 2.118, which is impossible, because since starting the torrent, my download speed has been greater than my upload speed. The "real" value that's uploaded is in the brackets, 17.4 MB. And I've downloaded 102.2 MB of that file, so a share ratio of 2.118 is sorta crazy.
Just thought I'd point it out, and THANK YOU for deluge!
Awesome Client!
i am really truly grateful for this deluge-on-windows...for it finally able to bypass the p2p control set by my ISP provider. My torrent speed has improved many hundred percent compare to the other famous p2p client out there using deluge. I have recommended this to my friends, but there are many bugs that need to be sorted out. One of my friend cant get it to start, another one cannot add another torrent. It just crashes. I am thinking to install linux and use deluge. Hopefully it is not buggy. But anyhow this is great program. Btw, does proxy with authorisation work with deluge for downloading torrent? both tracker and peers?
i can't add another torrent as it will freeze deluge.. but i'm not a heavy downloader so i just download 1 torrent at a time.. the problem arise when u finished downloading and try to add another torrent on it.. it wont download.. it shows either "queued" or "checking".. all i did is delete the deluge folder at "c:\documents and settings\user\deluge\*.*" and restart the deluge program. it works well after that.

Hi everybody:
Deluge is really great for those with problems of Traffic happing.
However the program is still very bugy.
I tested in ubuntu and it crashs all the time.
On windows it works for a long period but then it crashs too.
What is the best version so far for windows ???
Last one is crashing too much for me.
Please let me have yr experiences.

anybody know how to do portforward for deluge?
Mon, 10/29/2007 - 13:42
If you're on a router, go to http://portforward.com/routers.htm
Pick your router, and then from the applications list, pick utorrent. Follow the instructions on the page, and you're done.
(I'm sure you know how to set the port for Deluge, right? In the options menu, select the "Network" Tab, it should be there)
